Santitos is one of the many books I’ve read using Susanna Janssen’s notes. Some novels I can read but would have missed so much without the cultural references Susanna provides. Others, I could never have made it through the book without the explanations of the words and phrases she provides. Thank you Susanna for inventing this great way to enjoy learning Spanish!

What a fun book to read ! And to think I would have missed some of the ‘hidden meanings ‘ without the help of Susanna ‘s notes – both for colloquial usage and those words your dictionary never has.
